Pistol Class 1

This class is roughly three (3) hours in length. The student will need 20 rounds.

  • Intro to the four safety commandments
  • Range safety procedures, the Hot vs Cold range
  • Three places for a gun on the range
  • Safe general handling and storage of a firearm
  • Operation of your weapon, all the controls and what they do
  • Basic fundamentals of shooting and slow fire drill

Student must provide firearm, ammunition, and gear.

Pistol Class 2

This class is roughly three (3) hours in length. The student will need 150 rounds.

  • Review of class 1
  • Equipment choice and set-up
  • Draw from holster or carrying position and re-holstering
  • Grip, line of sight, sight picture, alignment, trigger finger placement, proper pressing of trigger and trigger reset
  • Trigger finger discipline
  • Dry fire drills using skillset above
  • Draw to safe ready and live fire drills
  • Diagnosis and corrections
  • Live fire drills

Student must provide firearm, ammunition, and gear.

Pistol Class 3

This class is six to eight (6-8) hours in length. The student will need 150 rounds.

  • Review of classes 1 and 2
  • The psychology of a fight
  • The 5 responses to danger and stress
  • Knowledge of diminished abilities due to stress and how training reduces them
  • Indiana Law and the use of force guidance
  • Movement, cover and concealment
  • Communication prior to, during and after involvement
  • Dry fire drills from holster or concealment
  • Training under verbal and physical stress
  • Live fire drills combining the above skills

Student must provide firearm, ammunition, and gear.

One Day Basic Rifle Intro Class

This class is four to five (4-5) hours in length. The student will need: an AR platform rifle/carbine, 150 rounds of .556 ammo, and eyes/ear protection. As recommended but not required, a pistol/holster and 75 rounds of ammo for transition drills.


Morning:

  • Intro and rifle basics & history.
  • Nomenclature, field strip, lubrication, the secret to make it run.
  • Cleaning resources and recommendations. 
  • Sling, stance, posture, hands with control, reloading.
  • Sight height issue and malfunctions, loading.


 Afternoon:

  • Range for 25 and 50 yard basic shooting.
  • Close quarters, movement.
  • Malfunction drills and transitioning.
  • 100 yard shooting with moving drills. 


                 THE MINIMUM FOR THIS CLASS IS THREE PEOPLE


If your rifle is not an AR platform, contact me and we will make it work.

Pistol Class Locations - Private Outdoor Shooting Range

Unless otherwise requested by the client, all pistol classes including classroom learning will take place at our private outdoor shooting range. 

Refunds/Privacy/Delivery of Items

Refunds

There will be no refunds available for items sold and payments made for services performed.  Because prior knowledge of the number of attendees affects the quality and preparation for each class and/or there can be a limited number of students per class, there will also be no refunds available for payments made in advance of classes completed unless those classes are cancelled by Safe-Sight Consulting.

Privacy

No personal information of the students or agencies served by Safe-Sight Consulting, LLC will be released to any other person/entity or otherwise published outside of Safe-Sight Consulting, LLC unless prior written consent is provided to Safe-Sight Consulting, LLC.

Delivery of Items

Items purchased from Safe-Sight Consulting, LLC will be delivered to the purchaser within 7-10 days after payment for the item is recieved.


Terms and Conditions

Safe-Sight Consulting, LLC shall be in no way liable to any student or any other person or entity for the use and/or misuse of the knowledge and/or techniques taught in the services and trainings provided by the company. Each student and/or customer is solely responsible and liable for the use of the knowledge and techniques provided by Safe-Sight Consulting, LLC.

Guarantee of services

Safe-Sight Consulting, LLC (The Company) agrees to perform the services contracted for in return for the agreed upon payment.  The company makes no guarantees regarding the success of the knowledge and techniques provided in training as performed by the students.  All knowledge and techniques taught by the company must be used in accordance with the relative local, state and federal laws/regulations along with the agency policies and guidelines of the students using these items for work/employme

Limit of Liability

All knowledge and techniques taught by the company must be used in accordance with the relative local, state and federal laws/regulations along with the agency policies and guidelines of the students using these items for work/employment purposes.  All knowledge and techniques taught by the company are in no way meant or designed to contradict any agency, parent, guardian or other responsible person including youth/minor students.
